Re: When will new miniatures be released?

Not sure if trolling?
Look for mention of 'Wave 2'. All that stuff should have been done two years ago.

Re: International Shipping Dates

Perhaps NMI will be by to tell us which of these mutually exclusive statements is a lie: Wayland Games: This week we have the new Robotech RPG Tactics box set which includes all the parts you need to play the game such as battlepods, 24 battle dice and 53 coloured game cards as well as a 112 page fu...

Re: International Shipping Dates

Don't be so stupid. Retailers are businesses, having the objective of making money. This means securing a supply of goods that are in demand and selling it at a profit. It is most likely the places in Aus / NZ / EU that have stock ordered from a US distributor along with significant other product. J...

Re: International Shipping Dates

And if you're an Aussie / Kiwi you're last on the list, after European distributors / retailers. I'm in the UK, and I'm literally seething over the latest KS (and I mean both Kevin and Kickstarter) update. It was very poorly worded, very poorly planned. Actually, I'm considerably more angry now than...

Re: International Shipping Dates

Actually I told all my friends about this (and X-wing) at about the same time. As a group we're now way north of £5k in X-wing stuff.

This, I don't think anyone but me will touch, and if it's as time-consuming as it looks to be it may well join Sedition Wars on the shelf.

Re: International Shipping Dates

Ordering from a local shop is not the same as ordering from a global retailer. Global retailers certainly don't give priority to overseas customers, but they don't really prioritise anywhere. Problem is, we in the EU/RoW can now order product and get it before our pledges. Or others who didn't back ...

Re: Robotech RPG Tactics and facebook

You are unfortunately right in the firing line as far as the entirely justified complaints being thrown by backers are concerned. It's a statement of fact that everyone outside the US was told one thing would happen (and indeed many backed as a result of that) and something else (actually exactly th...

Re: Robotech RPG Tactics and facebook

Copy paste from NMI's locking of the 'Where's my stuff?' thread: Locked for now. Referred to Palladium as liars or thieves, and similar insults will not be tolerated on their forums. I personally understand why some of you are upset or angry, however, the manner in which "some" of you are ...

Re: ok where's my stuff?

My backer rewards are most certainly not out the door yet, as I am a uk backer. The announcement above makes no distinction between backer locations. The kickstarter main page and all announcements make no distinction about backer location. Non-us backers have been misled, misinformed and mistreated...

Re: Retail shipping poll

However, upset backers are certainly going to upend the cart next time a kickstarter is attempted. I for one will be warning anyone I know, or anyone that follow me or my work online (such as it is) off backing a PB project. Too much risk, and too little evidence of any lessons being learned.

Re: Retail shipping poll

We still don't know who the UK distribution agent is. There is no confirmation it's even arranged at this point. Even if stuff went on a boat now, you're still looking at in the regions of 3-5 weeks before a UK distributor could sort orders, pack and start to post stuff to backers. Logistically spea...

Re: International Shipping Dates

Yeah but so many things throughout this product *shouldn't* have been issues, but somehow (despite being obvious to anyone with the wherewithal to look up how things work in the minis and model production industry) were. You'll forgive me if I have little faith in the organisation or planning abilit...

Re: International Shipping Dates

Bluntly, yes. That's what was promised. That it's taken this long for PB to even prepare shipping out the UK / EU / ROW stuff is not the backer's problem and doesn't change what we were promised. Personally if I ever get the opportunity to meet and greet any of the PB staff behind this debacle, I'll...

Nice that NA backers are getting stuff, but we over the pond still don't even know who the shipping partner is going to be.

Re: Robotech RPG Tactics update - Aug. 23

Yes, it is significantly cheaper to have the stuff made in China. Not just down to the per-part cost, more down to the tooling. The cost of which is driven down by INSANE amounts of it being done. You think this factory is concentrating solely on RRT? Think again. You don't however rely on anything ...

Re: Robotech RPG Tactics update - Aug. 23

From the Weekly Update: The reaction to Robotech® RPG Tactics™ at Gen Con was overwhelmingly positive. People liked what they saw, enjoyed the demos, and liked the game play and the size and detail of the game pieces. Some were positively giddy. I have to admit, so are we. We met many Kickstarter b...

Re: minis are a coming....

Just to point out that if you don't have prototypes already cast / sculpt work already complete on the majority, if not all models, there is no way on God's green Earth that you'll get a mini range into production for market inside a year. Won't happen - you need the prototypes to produce a master m...

Re: Robotech Miniatures?

I honestly think the 1/285 scale is perfect for this. The models were a pleasure to paint, and 6mm infantry is a LOT more forgiving than 28mm, so I can see it being popular with the less painty people.
