I am thinking an army that is facing huge swarms of very tough gargoyles would probably appreciate sentry guns that can fire hours continously before they need to recharge. This is not something a player group likely needs but it makes an awful lot of sense for the triax army.

I am curious and will have to do some looking when I get home. If the attacks are truly simultaneous and the effects happen at the same time it could lead to some hilarious mage kitten fights where it looks and sounds pretty scary but it winds up with both on their back not doing much.

Magic in Rifts can be very powerful but most of the really powerful magics seem limited to specific classes or races such as the atlantean tattoo magic. The more generic casted spells seem to have lagged some the damage numbers for most of them make sense when looking at just the original main book ...

I would not apply wild shooting penalty to people using the integrated weapon systems on a vehicle. The penalty is more for people shooting out of windows/hatches of moving vehicles not for using the build in weapon systems. Say somebody is on a sky cycle if they try to shoot a hand weapon off there...

Its not that assault weapons and machine guns cannot be useful against zombies its just that for the most part they are not really idea.
