Hey, don't forget "Killing Time", "One", "For Whom the Bell Tolls", and "Blitzkrieg", with the possible addition of "Don't Tread on Me" and "Of Wolf and Man" (for Tolkeen).

There's another couple songs, "This is War" and "Mad World", though the name of the artists (two different bands) escape me at this point.

"Seizure of Power" by Manson, "Bombshell" by Powerman 5000, and "Fire Freui!" by Rammstein also make my list.

Nightwish's "Planet Hell" is just a good one for Rifts in-general.

That's all off the top of my head... I might think of more later. :)

Are we looking hardcore metal? If so:

Cradle of Filth: Death Comes Ripping
anything by Angel Dust
Six Feet Under: This Graveyard Earth
Satyricon: Now Diabolical
Satyricon: Forhekset
Skrew: She Says
Agathodaimon: Banner of Blasphemy
Dimmu Borgir: Puritania
Dimmu Borgir: Progenies of the Apocalypse
Mayhem: Fall of Seraphs
Mayhem: Ancient Skin
Emperor: Inno a Satana
Emperor: Thus Spake the Nightspirit
Mercyful Fate: Into the Unknown
Mercyful Fate: Insane
I: Between Two Worlds
I: Cursed We Are

and for some not-so-extreme music:
Ayreon: anything off of the Universal Migrator album
Galactic Cowboys: Psychotic Companion

Mainly because it was in the opening sequence for "Duke Nukem: Land of the Babes" and it fit in very well. Anyone who has played the game would probably agree with me.

Meh...Six Feet Under have a song called "The Enemy Inside" that is mush better, both musically and thematically.

Oh yeah, and I figured out that it's Smile Empty Soul that sings "This is War". :)

Also a good one for a fallen Cyberknight.

Funny enough, that just so happens to be one of my current theme-songs. :)

I need to look at the lyrics once more, but Avenged Sevenfold's M.I.A. might be another good one.

Ok, after listening to the song again, and reading the lyrics (it's been a couple of months, cut me some slack). This song seems to have been written specifically for a CS soldier, remorseful for his actions in the siege.

Avenged Sevenfold wrote:Staring at the carnage, praying that the sun would never rise
Living another day in disguise
These feelings can't be right, lend me your courage to stand up and fight

Ohhh... tonight
Stand up and fight

The fighting rages on and on, to challenge me you must be strong.
I walk your land but don't belong, two million soldiers can't be wrong

It's no fun but I've been here before
I'm far from home and I'm fighting your war
(Not the way I pictured this, I wanted better things)
Some are scared others killing for fun, I shot a mother right in front of her son
(Take this from my consciousness and please erase my dreams)

Fight for honor, fight for your life
Pray to God that our side is right
Although we won I still may lose, until I make it home to you
I see our mothers filled with tears, grew up so fast where did those years go?
Memories won't let you cry, unless I don't return tonight

So many soldiers on the other side, I take their lives so they can't take mine
(Scared to make it out alive now, murder's all I know)
Nobody tells me all the reasons we're here, I have my weapon so there's nothing to fear
(Another day, another life, but nothing real to show for)

Fight for honor, fight for your life
Pray to god that our side is right
Although we won I still may lose, until I make it home to you
I see our mothers filled with tears, grew up so fast where did those years go?
Memories won't let you cry, unless I don't return tonight

Staring at the carnage, praying that the sun would never rise
Living another day in disguise
These feelings can't be right, lend me your courage to stand up and fight

Watching the death toll rise wondering how I'm alive
Stranger's blood on my hands, shot all I can
There were no silent nights watching your brothers all die
To destroy all their plans with no thought of me (No thought of me)
No thought of me

Ohhhh...

I Walk the city lonely, memories that haunt are passing by
A murderer walks your streets tonight
Forgive me for my crimes
Don't forget that I was so young, fought so scared
In the name of God and Country
