Bringing Prints to the Open House

..It hadn't occurred to me to do this until Carl suggested it to me in an email. I'm curious what kind of a response I'd get. Maybe full color prints of what I've done, individually priced with a discount for the bundle?

I'll have to talk to Kev about it, and look into the printing costs, but I'd love some feedback from likely attendees...

I did the covers to Rifter 46 and Rifter 49, two of the swimsuit images in Rifter 43, and an image with my short story in Rifter 44. All were originally done in color, so the prints would be a bit more dynamic than they appeared inside the books..

I've done more work of course, that's just what I've submitted to Palladium.

I'd buy some :ok:

You might want to talk with your fellow artist. Maybe they can help you with price and the cost of printing. I had a hard time pricing my Minion War maps. I had to sell half of what I had printed to recoup my printing cost. So consider the cost of printing along with what you want to sell your prints for.

Oh and I did forget to mention, talk to Kev to make sure he is cool with it.

Prints are where I make a good chunk of my money at the OH.

Okay guys, I've started using my DeviantART account finally, and I'm planning to bring prints to the Open House. I just have to find the time to get that done on top of finishing this comic and a couple of dozen other projects.

My DeviantART page is: http://madmanmike.deviantart.com/

I've got a couple of familiar images up already, plus a new one I just did.

Okay, I've added even more images to my gallery, including some of the freebie desktop images I did. Feel free to go there and download those, as well as my new sig-pic if so desired. Also, if you would be so kind, make a comment on any images you think you'd like to buy a print of, and I'll see if I can put them on the list just for you.

That's about what I was thinking. I don't want to act like I think I'm all that and price my stuff out of the market. Likewise, I don't expect to sell much with guys like you at the table.

I just ordered my prints, and should have them by the weekend. There's not many (short on cash), but Kev assures me there's a print-shop near the warehouse, so If I run out (I'm dubious about that notion) I can go get some more made.

Well, sold my first prints! I was showing them to a customer who's also a poet, and she picked out two and bought them. Now I'm going to have to order some more...

Kev and the gang screwed up a bit; They put me between Bradshaw and the Manning brothers. I asked Kev why he wasted the prime real-estate up front for me. "Why couldn't you put me with the no-talent hacks like Mumah and Aten?"

Prints for sale: Evie, Sparkles, Chrysalis, Ambush, and Tancrid & Jin Jessa; all can be seen in my gallery at DeviantArt.

Five bucks per print or all five for $20. Get them while they're hot.
