Gorgon Goat

There is a gorgon goat creature with one eye. I cannot find it. Would you all please help me find it. It was known to graze in tall grass and is only violent when humanoids appear.

If it's what I think it is, check your Rifter issues. It's gonna be in one of them, but I don't know which one, nor do I know if it was for Rifts or for PFRPG.

Well I did a search of the Rifters and all I could find was the Mythic Behemoth in Rifter 63, pg. 49. But I didn't see the picture you described.

i looked it up on the wider internet and found nothing relating to palladium games, perhaps you confused it with some D&D homebrew?

You assume this a I'd dye hard fan has ever played another game. I k how it exists, I just cant find it. And it drives me batty.

are you sure about it being a gorgon? or a goat? if you're misremembering part of it that might account for your problems finding it.

The goat part threw me for a loop, but I reckoned Zenviscaype was talking about a catoblepas, and remembered there was an African monsters article.

See I did a text search of my Rifter PDFs for goat and gorgon. Lots of hits, a staggering number of things described as goat-like but no monster. Also lots of goats and goat herders in PFRPG and BTS scenarios. So both words threw me.

This sounds like something in a different Game. If what I think is right, you posted this in wrong forum.


What you described sounds like the Catoblepa in the PF2 Monsters & Animals book on page 34.
