Pulp heroes stories

Unread post by Thom001 »

I was reading through the rifter and reading the pulp heroes section. Has anyone done this? Share your stories please.

I've had characters that were a nod to pulp heroes but not a full campaign based around the concept. I do not have their character sheets anymore though.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as SG. I've had characters in games that had pulp elements, and even characters that could be considered pulp on their own, but never run a pulp game.

Even in a modern HU game a Natural Genius, Hunter/Vigilante, Ancient Weapons Master, or Super Sleuth can easily work as a Pulp-like character.

Well loosely, I made a character once who was the grand niece of Kent Allard the Shadow who he took under her wing after she was arrested for being part of a new gang. It was a lot of fun playing the character and riffing on his motif.
