i have always preferred the late night special to any other game time preference. Though, it is hard to find a group who likes to do the same.

Early afternoons and early evenings are best, I'm in an age bracket where everyone has someplace to go the next morning, so we can't be out too late.

We also have our sessions be 4 hours or less, which puts the impetus on the GM to keep things moving quickly.

Every group has one problem player. If you cannot spot the one in your group; look in the mirror.
It is not a good session until at least one player looks you in the eye and says "you sick twisted evil ****"

ya, i miss the days that i played late nights from 12am up til 8 am or til the GM fell asleep.. we would continually wake him up to tell what was going to happen next and would only stop when he would stay awake for seconds at a time and got confused as to what we were talking about.
