I have a d20-based DnD game, set in the Eberron campaign setting. However, events have transpired to make both PCs and Players interested in (and capable of) doing some plane-shifting.
I've been strongly considering moving the game entirely into the Rifts setting..which would obviously require a complete conversion to the Rifts game mechanics.

I was wondering if any of you had tried (and succeeded) to do that in the past, and whether I could appeal for some help.

In general, we're looking at a party which consists of:

A Shifter (lycanthrope descendant) Druid/Barbarian

A Daelkyr-Halfblood (touched by Aberrant physiology) Beguiler (think Rogue, with Illusion and Enchantment powers)

A Human Warblade (master of spear-fighting and special, almost-magical, combat maneuvers)

An Elven Monk (bad-ass butt-kicking with a metaphysical edge)

And an Elven Cleric (religious leader who calls up the power of his ancestors)

ANY assistance would be tremendously helpful.

This one is going to stay with me a while.

I never played D20 anything and have no idea what it entails.

But it sounds like you may be better just bringing the Rifts setting into the campaign rather than other way round.

Well, it seems to me, that it would amount to the same thing.
As the DnD game has been going on for a few months, the 'idea' of the characters themselves need to remain true.
However, the mechanics obviously need to change.

For example, I can obviously use Human for the Human, the Daelkyr, and the Shifter...just adding a few oddities/special abilities to the Rifts standard.
The Elves can work just fine as Rifts Elves.

Classes and stats might be a little more challenging.

I suppose that I could come to some sort of ratio for raw ability scores (str prolly being the easiest).

Classes are gonna be the toughest, IMO.
