I understand your plight and you are right, it is hard to find a good and competent and yet fair game masterbut they are out there. I myself have been running Palldium fantasy and Rift games for over 15 years and I can safely say that I am a very fair GM, my players will have to tell you whether or not I am a great gm, but I do strive to make the whole experience fun and enjoyable for everyone, and believe me I never make it easy on them. Perhaps youshould come check out our game if you ever find yourself in Arizona. keep the faith we are out there and we are strong.

I got lucky and got another Rifts GM to join my group. What we did so we could be on both sides of the table was switch off weekly. It was nice.

I swear that they put crack in the mayo at Jimmy Johns.

Even if they didn't it would still kick the snot out of whatever you got over there.

Although I am not sure anything will ever come close to The Houston at The Big City Deli. Rest In Peace my friend.

I do miss all the good food to be found in the states, that's for sure!

Strangely enough, the best thing I've found in Germany (food-wise) is the Turkish Donner Kabobs.

Kinda feels like going to a Chinese buffet and getting a cheese burger!

If I ever find myself in NJ I'll definitely look you up, Cap! Don't know how likely that'll be though. Lookin' at settling down in CA after my enlistment's up.

But to get back on track, no, all the good GM's aren't dead. Except me, I'm dead yet I walk (and game). I guess that make me undead? Yeah, wow sorry for the ramble!

Germany has good Chinese food.

But nothing beats all those Turk kiosks/restaurants. At least not in Germany.

A real sandwich is the meat. Bread just keeps your fingers relatively clean.

Blashphemy!

The bread is the outer soul of the sandwich!

If the bread is all dry and tough and nasty it ruins the entire sandwich!

There is a place called Dagwood's here. Awesome sandwiches but so big it is hard to get your mouth around. I treat those sandwiches like 2 splitting them in half and chowing down.

Harsh.

Well we will see. I might even eat the fries, too, and refill the fresh squeezed lemonade at least once.

Then find a comfortable place. Lay down and die.

 You remind me of a friend who ate a "Chicago-styled" pizza from Papa Murphy's all by himself.

Of course, he didn't die. But he did throw up. :-P

Almost the only thing left here. Papa Johns, Papa Murphys, Papa Twin's . . . okay, so they have Little Caesar's (gag :-? ), Five Buck Pizza (yum :D ) and a few more that I can't remember.

I've been GMing for years and I still get to play once in awhile. I'm considered a good Gm by those who play in my games! While I've had some off nights, most have been fun for the players and myself. And I know a few GMs around here who are good GMs too. So not every good GM is gone. You just have to look hard for us!

Well, I'm still here and I'm awesome. Then again, I'm also awesomely busy. Maybe that's why I don't get to run games much anymore.
