My take, at least with my setting, is that it is mostly false. However, I have worked in the idea that there are different "hives" of Bugs competing for resources, so Bugs fighting other Bugs is not entirely out of the question.

It all depends on who you're playing with I think, some it offers up great RP opportunities, others...well it takes away from what they can shoot, shoot again, shoot some more, and then ask questions.
