A while ago, Kevin posted the following in a Weekly Update: "There could be more Rifts® Miniatures in your future. I am looking into the possibility of releasing a few of the old sets of minis that have been sold out for a long, long time. Like Cat. No. 8003 Coalition Troops #1, 8012 Juicers and Crazy, and 8013 Cyborgs #2. Probably not 8001 the original Glitter Boy and pilot since we have the superior new one. Unless you think you might want it as well? Food for thought. Maybe in time for Christmas? I may also talk to Carmen Bellaire about releasing some more of the figures he had sculpted for his ill-fated Rifts® boardgame Kickstarter a few years ago. They are freakin’ gorgeous."

Let us know.

Hello.
Since the new Glitter Boy mini was released I have been going back and forth on posting my thoughts. This gave me the push I needed. I was very excited to see the GB becoming available as I was one of the backers of the Boardgame. However upon reading that it is resin made me uninterested. There are too many reasons why I will not purchase any resin miniatures. You can find the flaws online. It is why I never bought any Forge World ones even thought I loved the sculpts. I feel I am not alone in this but I can only speak for myself and friends. There would have been at least 6 sold had they been plastic. Regardless thank you for your post about input. Sorry my post isn't that positive.
Thanks.

I think that this would be a fantastic idea! I've always wanted to get my hands on some minis for Rifts (and other Palladium releases honestly!)

I would buy the crap out of Rifts hero figures, a male and female of each different body armor type, such as male and female Plastic Man armor, Gladiator, Triax cyclops, Explorer, Crusader, and similar.
A full set of Main book classes would be great too. Line walker and Flaming Burster jump to mind.

Some rules on mat play would be nice too, I have had a LOT of Rifts combats go awry in ways that could be prevented with an official set of mat rules.

I second this motion.

I doubt I would purchase any. Trying to use Rifts/Palladium rules on Roll20 burned me out from wanting to use minis for these games.

Conceptually, I like the idea of Rifts (and all PB lines) collectibles, but realistically I have a limited budget for gaming supplies and prefer to spend that on books. Since I don't use battle mats and miniatures in my gaming, these would only sit on the shelf and score me nerd points. Assuming that I could justify buying them.

Hey, you came up with a novel, attention-getting idea, you did the legwork, you worked it through, you made it fit the setting, even though initial thought might be 'nah, it can't work, it's too silly/stupid/lame', and you posted something that only required a little adjustment, yet can be added to, without diluting its original concept. How can we not give you due support and credit?

For me miniatures are mainly for decoration. I've never really used them for game play and as I move to doing more games online I doubt I will. Also I find myself in a similar situation to others in that I am trying to limit my purchases to books right now.

That being said, when things return to normal I will buy the GB and any other miniatures you release especially the resin ones so releasing as many from the games as possible would be great.

I use mini's (before lockdown) - what I would say is that I prioritise the mini's that I'm gonna get the most use out of as NPC's/villians. So for fantasy Im more likely to buy a pack of bandits or goblins than a mounted knight mini etc.

Otherwise its those mini's that are 100% restricted to Palladium (such as Glitterboy)

I love the "new" style dead boy armors, and would like to see kits released of these, preferrably with multiple poses and optional weapon choices. 32mm would be ideal, but 28mm would be good as well. As the Coalition are more often than not the bad guys, the more the better. And if a tabletop skirmish game were to surface in the future, these minis would be the ideal start.

Although I would purchase minis in the Phase World Three Galaxies setting (Kreeghor, CCW), I understand not everyone plays in that setting, and the dead boys could be more versatile.

I would favor plastics, but there are some good resin minis producers out there, so that wouldn't be a deterrent to me if the end result was good.

I was very hopeful for the RIFTS board game as a route to get potentially cool minis, and maybe lead in to some skirmish style play. Still have my fingers crossed for that, although odds not good.

Comment: Yeah yeah yeah just give me my damn XP already :)
Of the price points are as comparabley high as the GB is then nope I'm out. "Collectible" or not the mini isn't THAT good.
