Gosh, working at Palladium Books is like living in a whirlwind; there is just so much going on.
We are sending the following books to the printer on Monday.
Powers Unlimited™ One – $14.95 retail. Should be back in print around June 2, 2008.
Rifts® Dimension Book™ 8: Naruni™ Wave Two – $14.95 retail. Should be back in print around June 2, 2008.
Rifts® World Book 10: Juicer Uprising™ – $18.95 retail. Should be back in print around June 2, 2008.
Rifts® Ultimate Edition – The Second Printing is down to the last few hundred copies so we are sending it in for reprinting. That means we might run out at some point, but it shouldn’t be more than 2-3 weeks. Still available $35.95 retail.
Aliens Unlimited™ – Rifts® Japan – Rifts® Lone Star – are probably next in line for reprinting.
After much hard work and planning, The Rifter® Zero will be Palladium’s first downloadable “product.” As a product it will cost a small fee of $3.00 to purchase and download.
The way our store is set up, you will probably have to order it like you would a book, using a credit card. It may take up to 48 hours for the order to be processed and made available to you for download.
The Rifter® Zero is only the first of such digital products. Future Downloadable products are tentatively to include color maps of our two favorite Hells, Hades and Dyval, a Carl Gleba Game Master’s Kit, and adventures.
therifter.com will be Palladium’s online version of The Rifter® publication where fan writers and artists will be able to post appropriate Palladium-based (and all-age appropriate) material online for Palladium fans, worldwide, to see and share. Cool. We hope to get it up and running in a few weeks.

Since there was no Palladium Open House this year (but there will be in 2009), we hope to make the two game conventions we’ll be attending, major events complete with a zillion Palladium creators, fun, new products, gaming events run by Palladium creators and Megaversal Ambassador G.M.s, to bring fun to everyone who attends
Palladium Books will be there at a big, six booth island booth with several recent releases that should include The Rifter® #43 Swimsuit Issue, Rifts® Dimension Book 11: Dyval™, Robotech®: The Macross Saga™, Robotech® The Masters Saga™, and the Deluxe Robotech® The Shadow Chronicles® RPG (8½ x 11 inch size), plus back stock, original artwork, prints, T-shirts and other goodies (some made special for the convention).
We are also expecting an army of Palladium creators and a big announcement. As far as we know, the following Palladium creators hope to be in attendance. All will be available to sign autographs, chat with fans, and some will be running Palladium gaming events.

And others . . .
Oh yeah, and we should have an earthshattering announcement to make at Gen Con (no, it’s not about the Rifts® Movie, but it’s almost as good).
You might be wondering, is it worth going to a one day event? The answer is a resounding YES!
Last year’s GallowsCon was one of the most fun conventions Kevin and Wayne had ever attended! Yes, that’s EVER ATTENDED. The atmosphere is friendly and warm. The events are fun. The people silly and fun. In fact, the atmosphere and pure gaming fun factor very much reminded Kevin and Wayne of Palladium’s very own Open House.
This year, Palladium hopes to make GallowsCon even more fun by bringing more Palladium guests, running more Palladium events and kicking up the gaming action several notches. “I’m thinking of GallowsCon as our surrogate Palladium Open House Event,” said Kevin Siembieda. “And I hope a lot of Palladium fans come and join the fun. Heck, it’s the only convention all year where I’ll be running games.”
Palladium will have a large booth in the Dealer’s Room selling new and back stock product, prints and such. Plus the following Palladium madmen will be there:
- Kevin Siembieda – G.M. running 2-3 RPG events. Palladium Fantasy® for sure. Maybe Robotech® and who knows what else.
- Josh Hilden – G.M. & co-author of Dead Reign RPG and will run at least one zombie game event.
- Wayne Smith – Editor of The Rifter®.
- James Brown – Game Master Supreme running 2 events.
- Lonni Langston – Game Master running 2 events.
- Glen Evans – Freelance Writer (tentative guest).
- Brandon Aten – Freelance Writer & G.M. (tentative guest).
- Taylor White – Freelance Writer (tentative guest).
- Jeff “NMI” Ruiz – Palladium’s online website administrator (tentative guest).
- And we hope to add several others to the list. How about it, ladies and gents? Make us look good. They actually think having Palladium folks as guests will attract more gamers. Help!
- A super-cool charity raffle to which Palladium will be contributing some cool items. Last year’s raffle had one fun item after another (something like 35 items, each very cool – no junk).
- Miniature gaming.
- Some board games and CCG games too.
Everyone in the Chicago, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis area should join the fun! Please pre-register so we know how many folks we need to accommodate with gaming events. And tell ‘em Palladium sent ya. Seriously, GallowsCon is an undiscovered gem. Total fun. Please join us for gaming fun, one-on-one conversation, autographs, photo-ops and more. Start making plans now and order soon!
Location: FLC Banquet Hall, 7950 Marshall Street, Merrillville, Indiana, 46410
Admission Price: $15 Pre-Registration (without a T-shirt)

We know this news will upset and disappoint some of you, but we have to do what’s best for the company. Unfortunately, that’s putting Dyval™ and Dimensional Outbreak™ aside for a couple weeks.
Here’s the deal, the author, Carl Gleba, is nothing short of brilliant. The book is packed with creatures, Deevils, magic, hellish realms and adventure ideas that will make you squeal with delight when you see it. However, the writing is very rough and is taking a lot of time to clean up for publication. Time is something we don’t have if we’re going to get other books out, like the Rifts® Anthology and three Robotech® RPG titles. So we are delaying these two late titles to get the other books out first. This will also enable us to make these Minion War books as epic and awesome as they deserve.
And they are great. Dyval™ is going to knock your socks off. The new Deevils, the new write-ups on the old Deevils, the Host, the War Mounts, the locales, the politics, the story advancement, the subplots, adventures, and artwork are all incredible. You are going to love it. And Dimensional Outbreak™ is just more fantastic vision and adventure from Carl Gleba. Fear not, the boss insists both Dyval™ and Outbreak™ will get released this Summer.
We are truly excited about all the great new titles lined up for 2008 release. Despite the agonizing delays, we are all working long hours and striving to give you the very best role-playing games and sourcebooks possible! And we do care about you, our fans, and the quality of our books. And we need the sales. We’re doing the best we can. Here’s what’s in the pipeline.
Rifts® Anthology – Tales of the Chi-Town ‘Burbs™ – Short stories set in the Chi-Town ‘Burbs. June, 2008. In production.
The Rifter® #43 – Swimsuit Spectacular! 96 pages, $10.95 retail, July, 2008. In production.
Rifts® Dimension Book™ 11: Dyval™, Hell Unleashed – Summer release (July or August).
Robotech® The Macross Saga™ Sourcebook – 224 pages, manga-size, $15.95 retail. July, 2008.
Robotech® The Masters Saga™ Sourcebook – 224 pages, manga-size, $15.95 retail. August, 2008.
Robotech® The Shadow Chronicles® RPG Deluxe Edition – Hardcover, 224 pages, 8½ x 11 inch size, new art and source material, $30.95 retail. August, 2008.
Rifts® Dimension Book™ 12: Dimensional Outbreak™ – Summer release (August or early September).
Dead Reign™ RPG – Zombies, zombies, zombies. October release. Final price and page count yet to be determined.
Note: If we can, we’ll slip in additional releases, bring out of print books back into stock, release new T-shirt designs, online product and more. Plus, we have great stuff planned for the Fall for Nightbane®, Palladium Fantasy RPG®, and Rifts®.
Black on grey T-shirt, this shirt could be a real world undergarment of a CS soldier. And now it can be yours!
